Things must change! Because with our prosperity, mobility, food production and tourism, we are depleting the earth. So we will have to transform, change, become circular. And yes, that can hurt. Transition pain, according to the Observatory Collective of Geert van de Camp, Andre Dekker, Lieven Poutsma and Ruud Reutelingsperger. But art, they say, can help overcome that pain.

To experience that, during Bosch Parade, they let the Dommel River speak about what it sees and hears, asking what the water wants. More space? Rest? More fun? From a mysterious floating mouth, De stem van het water lets us know how she is doing, shares her ponderings and personality. And so she conquers a place in the hearts and minds of us, the spectators who really need to change.
