When will Bosch Parade take place


Bosch Parade sails four times, on Thursday evening June 20 at 8 p.m., Friday evening June 21 at 7 p.m., Saturday evening June 22 at 8 p.m. and Sunday afternoon June 23 at 3 p.m. Halfway along the route at the Bolwerk (see image of route), the first works will pass by around 8:30 p.m. (Sunday 3:30 p.m.). End point is at Garden of Delights at the foot of the Citadel.

Volunteering


Would you like to co-create the Bosch Parade 2024 with us? We’re currently looking for all kinds of volunteers and co-creators in a variety of roles within the Bosch Parade, backstage and along the waterfront.

Travel

We ask everyone to travel by public transport. Bosch Parade can be reached on foot from Central Station. For cyclists, there is parking at the Citadel.

Accessibility

We think it is important that Bosch Parade and Garden of Earthly Delights are accessible to everyone. We cannot make some locations on the lower waterfront accessible because of the terrain. Garden of Earthly Delights is accessible. Terrace Bolwerk St. Jan is accessible by stairs and a lift. For those who want to visit Bosch Parade for free, there are several spots along the entire route that offer excellent visibility.

What is the address

Bosch Parade sails across the Dommel river in the centre of ‘s-Hertogenbosch. The parade starts at the Willemsbrug near restaurant Buurt and ends in the Garden of Earthly Delights. The Garden of Earthly Delights can be found at the foot of the Stadspoort Citadel. Access is at Zuid-Willemsvaart 2, ‘s-Hertogenbosch. The Garden of Delights can only be reached on foot or by bicycle. Check the map for more information.

Cloakroom or lockers

There is no cloakroom at Bosch Parade or in the Garden of Earthly Delights. There are no lockers for visitors. Bosch Parade is not liable for the loss of personal belongings. However, we do wish you lots of fun during Bosch Parade.

Opening hours

The Garden of Earthly Delights will be open Wednesday to Sunday from May 23 to June 23, 2024. The opening hours are:
Wednesday 3pm – 11pm
Thursday 3pm – 11pm
Friday 3pm – midnight
Saturday 1pm – midnight
Sunday 1pm – 11pm


The try-out of Bosch Parade will take place on Tuesday 18 June. The Garden of Earthly Delights will therefore be open extra on 18 June from 17.00 – 24.00.

Reservation

The Garden of Earthly Delights is breeding ground where colourful works of art come to life in May. A creative place with colorful seating and a terrace with beautiful water views. You cannot make a reservation for a seat. Excluded are groups of 20 people or more. See our packages for more information.

Dogs

Dogs are allowed on a leash in the Garden of Earthly Delights. Make sure the passageways are not blocked, and be considerate of the visitors around you. Cleaning up dog poo from your dog is mandatory. On the Bosch Parade terraces, we advise you not to bring your dog unless it is an assistance, assistance or guide dog. Bosch Parade and Garden of Earthly Delights are free to visit. Like previous editions, Bosch Parade 2024 promises to be crowded, with the best spots in the grass on the banks quickly taken. Fortunately, we have thought of a solution: the Bosch Parade terraces. Do you want to be sure of the best view and see the parade pass you by at close quarters? Then reserve a seat on one of these two terraces. Terrace Bolwerk is equipped with a lift. Terrace Westwal is only accessible by stairs.

Food and drinks on the terrace

You are not allowed to bring your own food or drinks on the terraces Westwal and Bolwerk St. Jan. Drinks and snacks are available for sale. At the Bolwerk you can order via a QR code, at Westwal you can buy a drink on the quay and take it to your seat. Want to dine before watching parade? We welcome you to the Garden of Earthly Delights! Aim to arrive early to be assured of a seat. The walk from the Garden of Delights to Westwal or St. Jan’s Bolwerk takes about 15 minutes.
