When will Bosch Parade take place


Bosch Parade sails four times, on Thursday evening June 20 at 8 p.m., Friday evening June 21 at 7 p.m., Saturday evening June 22 at 8 p.m. and Sunday afternoon June 23 at 3 p.m. End point is at Garden of Delights at the foot of the Citadel.

Travel

We ask everyone to travel by public transport. For cyclists or OV bikes, there is a bike parking at the Citadel. Bosch Parade can be reached on foot from Central Station. For cyclists, there is parking at the Citadel.

Accessibility

We think it is important that Bosch Parade and Garden of Earthly Delights are accessible to everyone. We cannot make some locations on the lower waterfront accessible because of the terrain. Garden of Earthly Delights is accessible. Terrace Bolwerk St. Jan is accessible by stairs and a lift. For those who want to visit Bosch Parade for free, there are several spots along the entire route that offer excellent visibility.

What is the address

Bosch Parade sails across the Dommel river in the centre of ‘s-Hertogenbosch. The parade starts at the Willemsbrug near restaurant Buurt and ends in the Garden of Earthly Delights. The Garden of Earthly Delights can be found at the foot of the Stadspoort Citadel. Access is at Zuid-Willemsvaart 2, ‘s-Hertogenbosch. Cloakroom or lockers

There is no cloakroom at Bosch Parade or in the Garden of Earthly Delights. There are no lockers for visitors. Bosch Parade is not liable for the loss of personal belongings. However, we do wish you lots of fun during Bosch Parade.

Lost and found

Did you lose an item during Bosch Parade or your visit to Garden of Earthly Delights? Valuable items such as wallets, keys, creditcards and phones that we find will be taken to the local police headquarters, Vogelstraat 41 ‘s-Hertogenbosch. Personal, non-valuable property you forgot to take home, such as clothing, can be retrieved by emailing info@boschparade.nl. Please include ‘lost and found item’ in the subject of your email and clearly describe which item you have lost. We keep non-valuable found items until July 1, 2024, after which usable items are donated to local partners such as the free clothers store. Valuable items we always take to the police.

Entrance for children

Entrance for children up to 2 years old is free, provided they do not require their own seat. Prams are not allowed on the Westwal terrace for safety reasons. Entry is at your own risk.

Prohibited items

Bringing your own food or drink is not allowed on the Westwal and Bolwerk terrace and in the Garden of Earthly Delights. Large objects such as prams, folding bicycles or umbrellas are not allowed for safety reasons. Drug use is not permitted.

Bad weather

Bosch Parade sails on 20, 21, 22 and 23 June, even if it’s raining or windy. Put on a rain coat, and come on over and enjoy the parade. Should we unexpectedly start a bit later due to the weather: up-to-date information can be found on our Instagram channel @boschparade.nl. Umbrellas are not allowed on the Bolwerk and Westwal terraces. Mainly for safety reasons for our swimmers and actors in the water. Moreover, with an umbrella you may block the view of visitors sitting behind you. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Opening hours

The Garden of Earthly Delights will be open Wednesday to Sunday from May 23 to June 23, 2024. The opening hours are:

The try-out of Bosch Parade will take place on Tuesday 18 June. The Garden of Earthly Delights will therefore be open extra on 18 June from 17.00 – 24.00.

Reservation

The Garden of Earthly Delights is breeding ground where colourful works of art come to life in May. A creative place with colorful seating and a terrace with beautiful water views. You cannot make a reservation for a seat. Excluded are groups of 20 people or more. See our packages for more information.

Dogs

Dogs are allowed on a leash in the Garden of Earthly Delights. Make sure the passageways are not blocked, and be considerate of the visitors around you. Cleaning up dog poo from your dog is mandatory. On the Bosch Parade terraces – Paid seats, accessible during the parade on 20, 21, 22 and 23 June – we ask you not to bring your dog unless it is an assistance, service or guide dog. In that case, the dog must wear a harness that clearly shows that it is an assistance dog. Do you have questions about bringing your dog? Bosch Parade and Garden of Earthly Delights are free to visit. Like previous editions, Bosch Parade 2024 promises to be crowded, with the best spots in the grass on the banks quickly taken. Fortunately, we have thought of a solution: the Bosch Parade terraces. Do you want to be sure of the best view and see the parade pass you by at close quarters? Then reserve a seat on one of these two terraces. Terrace Bolwerk is equipped with a lift. Terrace Westwal is only accessible by stairs.

Food and drinks on the terrace

Would you like to eat and have a drink before watching parade? We welcome you to the Garden of Earthly Delights! We serve lovely small bites and snacks (self-service). Aim to arrive early to be assured of a seat. The walk from the Garden of Delights to Westwal or St. Jan’s Bolwerk takes about 15 minutes.

You are not allowed to bring your own food or drinks on the terraces Westwal and Bolwerk St. Jan. Drinks (both terraces) and snacks (Bolwerk only) are available here by ordering via a QR code.

How do I exchange my ticket?


1.Once you have placed an order, you will receive a confirmation email containing the “Manage Order” button that gives access to MyOrder.

2.MyOrder is the central page where you can manage your order.
In MyOrder, under ‘More Actions’ an option ‘Exchange Tickets’ will be displayed. When you select it, you can indicate which products you would like to change.

3.Then choose the event for which you would like to use your credit and you will be redirected to the ticketshop.
In the ticketshop you can select the new products and the credit from your original order will be deducted from the new total.

4.Now you can complete the new order and your tickets have been changed! You will also receive a confirmation email of this new order.
